Return of The Light Ceremony: Cacao Circle
Hosted by Rakas Kakaw Founder, Nicole Flora Cramer
Join us for a magical community ceremony, offering grounding & deep nourishment for mind, body & soul.
Through guided meditations, rituals & mindfulness practices, you will be led on a healing journey of self-reflection + conscious community connection.
We will begin by sharing some facts about our ethical ceremonial cacao. As we drink our cacao together, we will share Mayan wisdom passed down from indigenous teachers.
✨🕯️✨ For the Return of the Light Ceremony, we find ourselves exactly half-way between Winter Solstice & Spring Equinox.
Celebrated across cultures since ancient times, at this time of year, we truly begin to see & feel that the sun's light is returning more & more into our daily lives. Let us join together & celebrate the return of the light in CommUnity with ritual & intention.

Ceremonial cacao is the whole food, relatively unprocessed product deriving from the Theobroma cacao tree, native to Central + South America.
Theobroma means "food of the gods" in Latin, and cacao is an Olmec term meaning "bitter" and "water." This gentle & sacred heart-opening plant, which has been a central component in Mayan culture for thousands of years, is now hailed in the Western World as a "superfood" packed with nutrients that boost mood, ease stress + help fight disease.
The ceremonial cacao we drink in our circles is a brew made of cacao mixed with water.
In every Community Cacao Circle with Rakas Kakaw, we serve ethical single-ingredient 100% Mayan ceremonial cacao sourced exclusively from indigenous collectives in Guatemala.
-
Saturday, 01/02/2025. Circle from 4 PM to 6 PM. Please arrive at 4 PM.

A Path to Temple with Marta
A Path to Temple
Our first meeting, "A Path to Temple," will have a slightly different structure from the gatherings planned further on for November and December. This initial meeting will be a sharing circle, a gentle "dipping a toe" into the space.
Together, we'll get to know one another, explore what our community needs most, and identify themes for our future gatherings.

Side by side, we will bring our words, our bodies, and our presence into the space. Slowly, without pressure, we’ll settle into this shared container. As we explore our questions, needs, and dreams, the direction of our next meetings will naturally unfold. Based on what feels alive in you, we will co-create our future gatherings together.

After meeting Aya and experiencing her passion for bringing people together, I felt called to take a step toward something that has been quietly stirring within me: creating a beginner temple space in Turku.
In my life, I long for spaces where people can connect with their deep aliveness, unique essence, and inner landscapes—the very source of all the creative energy waiting to be expressed outwardly.
I'm passionate about supporting people in their expression of love, power, and freedom. As an artist, somatic coach, and "soul surgeon," I feel deeply called to serve both human and non-human experiences. Group work has emerged as a crucial way for me to integrate and share these gifts.

Since ancient times, temples have been sacred spaces anchored in intimacy and connection among community members. The way these spaces were held was fluid, guided by the needs and imagination of those present. Temples stood for a deep devotion to life, a place where people could reclaim their aliveness.
We live in a world that often prioritizes doing, achieving, and performing. In contrast, the temple offers an opportunity to slow down, to attune to our authentic experience, and to listen to how it wants to emerge. Many of us feel a deep call for purpose, and yet this search can often lead to feelings of lostness, stagnation, or even hopelessness. In this space, we’ll explore those feelings together—normalize our experiences and, in the process, find support and allyship with one another.
I’m passionate about supporting you in your journey of becoming.
One thing is certain—there is no right or wrong in this space. The experience will be diverse. It may feel abstract, philosophical, or non-linear at times, inviting us to practice deep listening to the parts of ourselves that have been on the margins of our awareness. And we will be in it together.
During this meeting, I’ll explain the temple's structure and share more about its operation, opening the space for questions, reflections, and feedback.
I warmly invite you to join us at Manilla Tehdas on November 8th, when we can co-create this unique space with curiosity and openness.
No need to bring anything but your curiosity.
Free and open to all.
