Fun With Blobs: Unleash Your Creativity

Do you struggle with finding inspiration? Are you convinced you can’t draw? Or maybe you just want to create cute art to proudly show off? We invite you to explore your creative side by making not one, not two, but three mixed-media artworks, starting with just a watercolor blob.
Here’s the agenda:
We will meet in a small, friendly group at the charming Bokachá café, get acquainted, and have a look at the materials in front of us.
Olie will then guide you through simple art techniques that combine watercolor, black pen, and colored pencils. You'll create two A5 artworks: one featuring mushrooms and the other, pumpkins.
Finally, we'll awaken our muses by challenging each other to create an A6 postcard featuring an animal, based on a watercolor blob your partner makes for you. A collaborative artistic experience!
Most importantly, we'll have fun, enjoy each other's company, and, if you'd like, sip pumpkin spice lattes. Bokachá is offering a discount for all workshop participants during the sessions. Hope to see you there!
About the host:
Olie is a writer, game developer, and illustrator who, over her career, has worked on a cartoon series, written and illustrated a children’s book, and shaped the worlds of both released and unreleased video games. In other words, she spends her time doing creative things that require a ton of inspiration, and she seems to know where to find it.
