Healing Circle: Let’s Talk About Everyday Activism

With emphasis on healing & connection, this circle will be focused on dialogue, psychological safety and actionable steps towards intersectional DEI and social justice.

In collaboration with Intersectional Healing Collective, & Bibak Suomi Ry , we’re creating a space where intersectional DEI and social justice go beyond theory—through real talk, storytelling, and interactive elements.

By increasing mutual understanding and collective visioning we will not just have a theoretical discussion but inspiration and learning.

We do this through storytelling, practical insights, and interactive elements. The circle will make intersectional healing relatable and actionable on a personal level.

  • Charlotte “Lotte” Karlsson (she-her)
    Lotte
is a theatre pedagogue (MA), who builds her practice on the methodology and philosophy of Theatre of the Oppressed, concepts like Radical Rest and her own life as an activist for social justice. Professionally her main motivation and interest is the expression of the ones you don’t often see or hear.

At the moment she is slowly but steadily spinning her web of life, navigating her innate call for inclusive community, society's capitalist demands, as well as her own energy resources and intuitive voice. In practice Lotte works for and with various employers and co-operation partners, facilitating groups of actors, art-makers and dramalovers, regardless of intellectual disabilities, as well as teaching children and youth in both hobby settings and in schools.

Lotte’s biggest dream is belonging to a theatre group that dedicates itself to investigating lived oppression and the breaking of it through artivism.
